Prof. Jie Cheng

Biography:
Jie Cheng, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, received his Ph.D. degree in Cartography and GIS from the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in June 2008, and was admitted to the Postdoctoral Station of the Center for Remote Sensing and GIS Research at Beijing Normal University (BNU) in the same year. He then worked as an Assistant Research Scientist in the Department of Geography at the University of Maryland (U.S.) from October 2009 to March 2010 and was appointed to the Institute of Global Change and Earth System Research at BNU after his postdoctoral release. In June 2010, he was appointed by the Institute of Global Change and Earth System Research of Beijing Normal University. His research focus is thermal infrared quantitative remote sensing, including thermal infrared hyperspectroscopy, radiative transfer simulation, and remote sensing estimation of radiative energy balance covariates at the surface. He has published more than 80 SCI articles (including more than 50 first/corresponding authors). He has presided over more than 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He is currently an IEEE Senior Member, Editorial Board Member of Remote Sensing, and Associate Editor of IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters.
Prof. Anhong Tian
Kunming University of Science and Technology, China
Biography:
Anhong Tian is a professor, a doctor of engineering, a master's supervisor, the director of the Association of Women in Science and Technology Workers, a member of the CAA fractional order systems and control committee, a member of the Kunming University of Science and Technology High-Level Introduced Talents Program (four levels). She was once at Huawei, working on software research and development. She has chaired over 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, more than 10 projects of the Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Department, and won one prize of Excellent Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Award for Postgraduates in Yunnan Province. In recent years, he has published more than 30 SCI papers in IEEE TGRS, INT J BIFURCAT CHAOS, REMOTE SENSING, Spectroscopy and Spectral Analysis and other domestic and international journals. She has guided students to participate in disciplinary competitions and won more than 10 awards at the provincial level or above.
Prof. Jinhua Wang
North China University of Science and Technology, China
Biography:
Jinhua Wang is a professor and master's supervisor in the Department of Surveying and Mapping of the College of Mining Engineering. She is a famous teacher in Hebei Province and an advanced individual in teacher ethics in Hebei Province. Several graduate students under her supervision have been honored with excellent master's theses at the North China University of Science and Technology. He mainly focuses on the research directions of regional remote sensing monitoring and hyperspectral data analysis, geomagnetic positioning, and downhole GIS risk avoidance. In recent years, she has completed more than 20 vertical and horizontal projects for the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Department of Science and Technology of Hebei Province, as well as 8 horizontal projects for Tangshan Mapping Technology Service. She has published more than 30 scientific papers, including 23 papers in core journals, 8 papers in EI search, and 1 monograph. Her works "GIS Support Service System for Ecological Management of Secondary Wetlands in Urban Mining and Sinking Areas" and "Mechanism Research and Modeling of GIS Network Analysis Technology for Underground Emergency Rescue" sponsored by the Hebei Science and Technology Department and Natural Science Foundation of Hebei Province were awarded the first prize of Science and Technology by Hebei Surveying and Mapping Society, and the first prize of Science and Technology of Hebei Society of Surveying and Mapping.
