Biography:
Professor Mohamed Elhag holds a PhD in Water Resources Management from the University of Thessaly, Greece, and is a tenured professor of Remote Sensing at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He also serves as a visiting professor at the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth (RADI), Beijing, and the German University of Technology in Oman. With numerous publications in reputable journals, he is actively involved in international working groups in his field. Prof. Elhag's teaching philosophy focuses on fostering a learner-centered environment that stimulates students' interests and critical thinking. He designs lesson plans that integrate students' diverse backgrounds with course content, promoting connections across disciplines. His commitment to collaborative learning encourages reflective thinking and enhances students' communication and trans-cultural skills. Consistently ranking in the top 10% of educators at his institution, he has successfully supervised eight postgraduate students, with ongoing research in Water Resources Management.
